“Emotionism” as a concept has at its core the power of visual stimulus to evoke a raw, human emotional response; ‘What you see is what you feel’. The concept aims to directly access the human heart with the symbolic encapsulated through the simplicity of line, colour and form. A powerful visual depth is created through subtle tonal variations of Melodie C’s limited yet vibrant palette and the unique creation of line through the use of string.
